Therapeutic use:
Active against Demodex, Sarcoptes, Notoedres, Otodectes, Cheyletiella mites; also effective against roundworms. Used for ecto- and endoparasites in small mammals, pigs, and birds.
Dosage:
Dogs:
Demodicosis: 0.3–0.6 mg/kg orally daily, long-term.
Sarcoptic/Otodectes mange: 0.2–0.4 mg/kg subcutaneously every 2 weeks for 4–6 weeks.
Alternative: 0.2–0.3 mg/kg subcutaneously every 1–2 weeks for 6–8 weeks.
Sarcoptic/Otodectes mange: 0.2–0.4 mg/kg subcutaneously every 2 weeks for 4–6 weeks.
Alternative: 0.2–0.3 mg/kg subcutaneously every 1–2 weeks for 6–8 weeks.
Cats:
Notoedric/Otodectes mange: 0.2–0.3 mg/kg subcutaneously every 2 weeks for 6–8 weeks
Birds:
0.2 mg/kg intramuscularly or subcutaneously every 7–14 days
